Mano Krach – Germany

Facilitator

Mano Krach is a Certified Focusing Professional and has been actively involved in self-organized social and political communities for over two decades. Their work has primarily focused on addressing police violence, incarceration, and social discrimination. A key aspect of this engagement involved organizing legal rights workshops, providing support, and building psychosocial support structures. Through this work, they gained deep insights into group dynamics in conflicts, decision-making processes, and the impact of trauma and violence on interpersonal relationships. While recognizing the strengths and creativity that individuals bring to community organizing, they also became aware of the challenges in achieving peaceful conflict resolution and addressing trauma and mental health in an accessible and empowering way.

Over the past five years, Krach has pursued systematic training in various fields, including Nonviolent Communication with a focus on power and privilege, Mindfulness and trauma-informed approaches in social justice work, and conflict communication in group settings. They are a certified trainer for Betzavta – More Than a Democracy, an experiential program on democracy and conflict resolution by the Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace. In 2023, they completed certification in Psychological First Aid (PFA) with Focusing Initiatives International, followed by Community Wellness Focusing Training in 2024, further deepening their expertise in fostering healing and constructive dialogue within communities.
