Integrating Community Wellness and MHPSS

What is Community Wellness Focusing?

Community wellness is essential to healing. “Focusing In Community” fosters healing and brings connection, resilience, and shared problem-solving in you, your professional life and in your communities.

What is Integrative MHPSS?

MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) is about more than just medical care—it includes taking care of yourself and supporting your community. With one in three people facing serious mental health (MH) challenges in their lifetime, there simply aren’t enough trained professionals to help everyone. That’s why your role in the community is so important.

Our course goes beyond the traditional mental health model, focusing on the power of community, resilience, and cultural understanding. You’ll learn how to build a strong foundation in Psychosocial Support (PSS), helping yourself and others in meaningful, effective ways.

If you are curious about this process you can get started with our one-month Psychological First Aid module—perfect if you’ve ever wondered how to support a friend in crisis but weren’t sure what to do.

The Curriculum Path

Our 2026-2027 Community Wellness Focusing: An Integrative Approach to MHPSS Professional Certification program is designed to support personal, professional, and community growth and healing.
