Facilitator

Sherene St. Cyr holds an MA in Counselling Psychology with an emphasis in Indigenous Practices of Healing. The focus of her life’s work is supporting Indigenous wellness from the Mazatecos in Mexico to the Yupiks in Alaska. She is of Mexican-American descent and a settler on the Taku River Tlingit Territory.

Sherene is a dedicated professional with over 20 years experience in healing work. She brings a passion for  culturally based healing modalities and wellness models to communities beyond the constraints of the Western professional framework. Through years of experience working with Indigenous populations, she has adapted the general PFA curriculum into Indigenous PFA, a specialized program designed to address the unique needs of Indigenous communities in crisis.
